The Nollywood market is too fragmented. The movies are produced too quickly and are mainly of poor quality. The market is at the moment very challenging for big money financiers unless they want to spread their funds over a portfolio of movies.
Piracy is not helpful and recovering high spend over a long period of time is still very high risk. The market is only suited for'quick and cheap' at the moment and won't change until the piracy issue is addressed.

The market is not yet ready. How can one risk large capital in this unregulated market wit a lot of piracy. 4 - 5 years' time may be, but not now.
